The 2021 Ornament: Celebrating our new UA Public Schools

The ornament highlights this year’s major achievement for our public schools — the completion and grand openings of our new high school building and our five renovated / rebuilt elementary schools.

This journey began with a two-year Community Facilities Master Planning process, and as a result, in November 2017 Upper Arlington’s residents voted to pass “Issue 43” and proceed. After years of construction and transition, the community can now enjoy these new and transformed spaces.

Our UA Public Schools’ history officially begins in 1918 with many significant dates along the way. This collection of historical information is provided courtesy of UA Schools, UAPL’s UA Archives, the City of UA and the Upper Arlington Historical Society:
