Being a Society Trustee

We value the unique experiences and backgrounds of our board members and strive for a well-rounded board that shares our passion for discovering, preserving and celebrating UA’s history in a meaningful way.

Trustees serve a three-year term, renewable twice, which runs from June through May. Society members present at the Society’s June Annual Meeting vote on new and renewing Trustees from the Board-nominated slate of candidates. Throughout the year, if a vacancy exists on the Board, the Trustees may fill the vacancy until the next election.

Board meetings are the third Wednesday evening of the following months: January, February, April, May, August, September, October, and November. The Society’s Annual Meeting is held in June.

Interested persons should submit an Interest Form. Applications must be received by April 1st to be considered for that June’s Annual Meeting voting.
