“OVER AND OVER AGAIN I LED A CHARMED LIFE” - VIETNAM

A Navy Hospital Corpsman assigned to a Marine unit during the Vietnam War, Seth Wolfe served on the front lines in Delta Company of the 1st Battalion, 1st Marines—grimly nicknamed the “Dying Delta” due to the severe casualties they endured. His service was marked by harrowing experiences, beginning with the difficult choice to enlist and ending with the pain of being mistreated upon his return home.

Seth has called Upper Arlington home since 1990 when job opportunities at The Ohio State University brought Seth and his family to Columbus. He was drawn to Upper Arlington for its top-rated schools, family-friendly atmosphere, proximity to OSU, and green spaces. Today, Seth plays a key role in organizing reunions for his fellow veterans, including their most recent gathering in September.
